ReplyDeletePeople always say "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger", but what does it really mean? To me it means coming out of drugs, gangs, no parents, rape, placement, and so much more. It to me means making it out of all that crap, and still having a good head on your shoulders.
In my life I have seen a lot of things just as well as doing them. I've been in placement now for 7 years. Everyday is the same for everyone. It's a strugle, but what count's is what you make of it.Life is truley like a box of chocolates you never know what your going to get.
I'm also a firm beleiver in the man up stairs. He will never put you through something that you can't handle. God needs an army, and army that is strong. In the end he 'll make sure your okay. This is what I consider "what doesn't kill you will make you stronger".

ReplyDeleteThere was a coal mine disaster and 78 people died, pluse 99 miners were inside. Coal mining is a very dangerous job. Haiti was located in the capital it collapsed and killed many people. Delays and aid distribution led to angry appeals from asid workers and survivors. Haiti's communication systems, air, land, and sea transport facilities, no spitals and electrical networks had been damaged by the earthquake.

The No. 9 was an explosion that happened @ 5:30 a.m. on November 20, 1968, at the Consol No. 9 coal mine north of Farmington and Mannington, West Virginia, USA.
The explotion was big enough that it could be felt almost twelve miles away in Fairmont. At the time over 99 miners were inside. Over the course of the next few hour 21 miners found their way to safty. 78 people were still traped. They never found their way out so they all perished. Today still, 19 of the dead was never found.

Haiti
The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake. Its epicentre was near the town of Léogâne, approximately 16 miles west of Port-au-Prince, Haiti's capital. The earthquake occurred at 16:53 local time on Tuesday, 12 January 2010. By January 24, at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater had been recorded. An estimated three million people were affected by the quake; Haitian President Rene Preval stated, on January 27, that "nearly 170,000" bodies had been counted. Katrina
Hurricane Katrina of the 2005 Atlantic hurricane season was the costliest hurricane,as well as one of the five deadliest, in the history of the United States. Among recorded Atlantic hurricanes, it was the sixth strongest overall.
Hurricane Katrina formed over the Bahamas on August 23, 2005 and crossed southern Florida as a moderate Category 1 hurricane, causing some deaths and flooding there before strengthening rapidly in the Gulf of Mexico. The storm weakened before making its second landfall as a Category 3 storm on the morning of Monday, August 29 in southeast Louisiana. It caused severe destruction along the Gulf coast from central Florida to Texas, much of it due to the storm surge. The most severe loss of life and property damage occurred in New Orleans, Louisiana, which flooded as the levee system catastrophically failed, in many cases hours after the storm had moved inland. Eventually 80% of the city and large tracts of neighboring parishes became flooded, and the floodwaters lingered for weeks. At least 1,836 people lost their lives in Hurricane Katrina and in the subsequent floods, making it the deadliest U.S. hurricane since the 1928 Okeechobee Hurricane.
